Bernardi Ogliano
In 1962, the young Tarcisio Bernardi, feeling constrained in his role as a member of the local cooperative winery, decided to vinify his own grapes and sell the wine independently, drawing on the experience of at least three generations of winegrowers. At that time, agricultural mechanization was still in its early stages, and the steep hills of Pedeguarda di Follina required hard work, while the land was sometimes ungenerous. These challenges led the Bernardi family, in 1972, to move to Ogliano, in the hills of Conegliano. This marked the beginning of what would later become Bernardi Ogliano.
Today, the winery covers an area of about 16 hectares, of which 13 are planted with vineyards, grouped into a single estate surrounding the company center: a charming weave of rows stretching across sunlit green hills. Over time, new generations have joined the older ones, and traditional working methods have been complemented by modern technologies that help improve the wines, making them suitable for market demands. At the same time, the strong connection to the land, the love for nature, and the authenticity of the products have remained unchanged.
Bernardi Ogliano strives to convey all of this to its customers, both long-standing and new, who appreciate its wines and the welcoming, family atmosphere that can be felt throughout the winery.
