Il Filo della Storia - Visit Conegliano

The city of Conegliano is made up of a compact historical core, enclosed by a medieval fortified system that is not always identifiable, but easily repeatable. Within this walled system or in its immediate vicinity, there are the most relevant historical, architectural and artistic point of interest.

For this reason, a ring-structured tour of the Conegliano Lions Club was designed and built in 2013, therefore viable without interruption, through the Historic Center of Conegliano, which envelops and touches all the monuments and sites of interest and which it allows, therefore, to appreciate, as a whole, history, life and curiosity.

The pedestrian itinerary, about 4 km long, is visually indicated on the ground by a colored strip and illustrated along the route by 24 panels, “totems”, which bear a photographic image of the monument, of the artwork or element of the memory, which is then described briefly at the point where it is located, or in its immediate vicinity.

The itinerary can be taken from anywhere in the city, without compromising the enjoyment of the visit. The itinerary can be done independently or through guided tours accompanied by professionals. The guided tours are selected on the second and fourth Sunday of the month (excluding January and August) with departure from Palazzo Sarcinelli. The visit is subject to the payment of a small participation fee. Detailed information in the attached brochure.
